As we all know, there are many taxi drivers who, due to the repairing process of their vehicles, deal with financial problems. And this creates a lot of difficulties for them. By keeping this in mind the Government of Andhra Pradesh has created a new scheme known as YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme. Under this scheme, the financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 will be provided to the taxi drivers per annum. AP Vahana Mitra Scheme Launched 3rd Phase
Today on 15th June 2021 the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy has released the third installment under the YSR Vahana Mitra scheme. Around 2,48,468 beneficiaries have been rewarded with Rs. 284.47. as approximately 42939 new beneficiaries have applied for this scheme in the current year. This financial assistance will help that cab and taxi drivers to meet their expenses of repairment of their own vehicle.

- ST- 9,910 beneficiaries,
- OC- 40,494 beneficiaries.
YSR Vahana Mitra Third Installment In Advance
As we all know the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy has launched YSR Vahana Mitra to provide financial help to the auto and taxi drivers of the state. Recently the chief minister announced who launched the third phase of this scheme on the 15th of June 2021. In a press conference on Thursday, he said the amount for the 3rd phase will be released in advance to cope with the situation of the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic. Now the new buyers of the vehicle under the YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme can apply within 8 days.
- The verification will be done by the concerned authorities.
- After the successful verification, the assistance of rupees 10000 will be provided to the beneficiaries.
Rolled Out of Assistance From June 15
The Chief Minister YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy has created a new scheme to get financial help amongst the auto and taxi drivers of the state. Now, the distribution of financial assistance under the YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme for the financial year 2021 will commence from June 15. With the help of this assistance, the drivers will be able to meet their expenses of repair and Insurance of the vehicle in the harsh time of the pandemic. Recently, the government has made an announcement for the Welfare of the taxi driver about the assistance.
- This assistance will help them in removing the burden of repairing and insurance premium from the shoulders of the taxi driver

YSR Vahana Mitra Phase 2nd Installment
As we all know the self-owned taxi drivers are provided with the financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 every year for the various expenses of insurance and repayment. Around Rs. 10,000 has been provided to 2,363,43 beneficiaries during the first year. Now the beneficiaries have been increased for the second year to around 2,73,4076. By viewing this change the government has extended the deadline to apply under the YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme. Around 11,501 applications have been received after the extension of the deadline.

- Around Rs. 510 crores till now have been disbursed among the beneficiaries.
YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme Update
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy has always come up with various welfare schemes for the people of the state. Just like he has launched the YSR Vahana Mitra scheme to provide financial assistance among the jobless drivers of auto taxis and cabs. Now the chief minister is thinking of providing the benefit of the YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme to proprietor cum drivers, auto maxi taxi, and cab drivers who drive their own vehicles. He announced that the application procedures for the various stages would be done by May 26 through the ward and village secretary.
