A new scheme has been launched by the Maharashtra government in order to provide housing facilities to the covid warriors of the state. Under this scheme, around 4488 flats are available for the covid warriors of Maharashtra. CIDCO Lottery Objective
As we all know there are economically section people who, due to their every financial condition or not be able to buy their own houses. And to cope up with this problem the Government of Maharashtra has come up with a New Housing scheme known as CIDCO Lottery. The housing facilities will be provided to the economically weaker section of society and lower-income group people of the state. The main objective of launching this scheme is they will be able to live in their own houses without worrying about any type of hurdle.

CIDCO Lottery Launching
For providing housing facilities to the poor or EBC categories of citizens, the Government of Maharashtra has come up with the new scheme CIDCO Lottery. Housing facilities will be provided to the covid-warriors. There are around 4488 no. of flats which will be provided to them. Special attention will be given to those citizens who have shown their ultimate gratitude while dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.
Construction Phase
This scheme will be put under the construction phase. At first, around 5000 houses will be constructed in the Thane District of Navi Mumbai. This decision has been taken by the Urban Development. The houses will be allocated in different areas throughout the state. This scheme will be proven very beneficial for those families who belong to the Middle Income Groups.
Registration Charges
Before applying under CIDCO Lottery Scheme, the applicant will need to go through all the important instructions mentioned on the portal. The foremost consideration will be how much charges will have to be paid for getting registration? The EWS will have to pay Rs. 5,000/- and LIG will have to pay Rs. 25,000/- as a registration fee.
Allotment of Flats Distribution
The Governmental authorities of the Maharashtra state will soon start distributing the flats among the eligible applicants. There will be some limitations on the distribution of flats. There will be around 53,000 no. of flats which will be distributed among the applicants belonging to the EWS Category and the applicant belonging to the Lower Income Groups will be able to get 41,000 of flats.
Unit Price of Flats
As we all know that the figure in between the distributed no. of flats to the EWS applicants and LIG applicants are different then the unit price of flats sold to the applicants will also be different. Flats distributed among the applicants belonging to the EWS will be sold at the cost of Rs. 18 lakhs and Rs. 25 lakhs will be the unit price of the flat sold to the LIG applicant.
Availability Of 5,730 Tenements In Navi Mumbai
On 27 January 2022, the CIDCO has announced that on the special occasion of 73rd Republic day there will be an availability of 5730 tenements that are available at the Taloja node in Navi Mumbai. These tenements are available for economically weaker section society people and general category citizens that are living in Mumbai. The registration for these tenements will begin from 26 January 2022. Out of the total tenements around 1524 tenements are available under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. And the remaining 4206 tenements are for the general category. The official said that the registration will be accepted from 24 February 2022 from the official website of CIDCO Lottery.

CIDCO Lottery Construction of 5000 Houses
The Urban Development and Kajal minister of Thane District Eknath Shinde has informed that around 5000 new houses will be drawn in Navi Mumbai under CIDCO Lottery. The houses have been allocated in different locations such as Ghonsoli, Kharghar, Kalamboli, Tahola, and Dronagiri Nodes. Before this lottery, the houses have been believed to were from the Awas Yojana And the eligible beneficiaries have been allotted with these houses. Most of them are unable to take houses due to the early closing that has been taken in January.

PMAY CIDCO Build 8000 Houses
The MD of CIDCO Sanjay Mukherjee has provided the information that around 24000 houses have been built under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana through CIDCO Lottery Scheme. Now the decision to give more emphasis on the housing scheme has been taken by the CIDCO. Until now around 87000 houses have been built under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and these houses have built-in 27 different places in Navi Mumbai. They will get the keys to the house by 2022
